Supported by an elite production team of seasoned producers, casting directors, art departments, and local location scouts, every detail is meticulously executed to meet the highest international commercial standards.

From hidden crystalline cenotes beneath lush jungle canopies to pristine white-sand beaches, ancient Mayan ruins, and the luminous Caribbean horizon at golden hour, Tulum offers a rare fusion of nature, heritage, and modern luxury. How do Expeditions work?

A Start-to-Finish Overview

  • The process begins with a direct inquiry from the brand. This includes a high-level overview of the campaign goals, product category, desired deliverables, timelines, and intended usage (editorial, digital, OOH, social, e-commerce, or global advertising).

    At this stage, SHAMAYIM’s team evaluates creative alignment and determines the most suitable expedition destination to support the brand’s vision.

  • A private discovery call is scheduled with SHAMAYIM and the production team. During this conversation, the brand’s identity, visual language, references, and campaign objectives are discussed in depth.

    This step ensures creative clarity, alignment on tone and scale, and establishes the strategic direction for the production.

  • Based on the creative direction, SHAMAYIM curates a selection of locations within the expedition destination that best serve the brand narrative. This includes natural landscapes, architectural environments, and culturally significant settings.

    A visual concept is then developed, outlining how the brand’s product will be integrated into the environment in a way that feels elevated, authentic, and campaign-driven.

  • Once the concept is approved, SHAMAYIM’s production team manages all logistics, including:

    • Local permits and location access

    • Casting (models, talent, and extras as needed)

    • Hair, makeup, wardrobe, and styling support

    • Production crew, equipment, and transportation

    • Accommodation and on-ground coordination

    A final production budget and timeline are confirmed before moving forward.

  • Leading up to the expedition, the brand receives a structured pre-production plan. This includes:

    • Final shot list and mood references

    • Location schedule and call sheets

    • Talent confirmations

    • Styling and product preparation guidance

    This step ensures the brand arrives fully prepared and confident in the execution.

  • During the expedition, SHAMAYIM leads the creative direction on set while the production team handles all on-ground execution.

    The brand can choose to be physically present on location or work remotely, receiving live updates and previews throughout the shoot. Every day is structured to maximize efficiency while maintaining a relaxed, high-end production environment.

  • Following the shoot, SHAMAYIM oversees all post-production, including:

    • Image selection and curation

    • High-end retouching and color grading

    • Final formatting for agreed usage platforms

    The brand receives a polished, campaign-ready image set aligned with the original creative vision.

  • Final assets are delivered through a secure digital platform, along with clear documentation of usage rights and licensing terms.

    The brand now has a complete suite of high-impact visuals ready for launch, distribution, and long-term brand storytelling.

  • Many brands choose to continue working with SHAMAYIM across multiple expeditions and seasonal campaigns. Past collaborators are given priority access to future destinations and early creative planning opportunities.
