    Studio Workshop I

    Lighting as Language
This session focuses on using light as a narrative tool rather than a technical solution.

    Participants learn:

    • Editorial lighting versus commercial lighting

    • Building strong base light with intention

    • Sculpting faces, garments, and textures

    • Creating mood, contrast, and depth

    • Working efficiently under real production timelines

The workshop is hands-on, with professional models and rotating shooting opportunities.

    Destination Editorial Workshop I

Exotic Automotive Editorial — Miami Beach

Participants photograph a high-fashion editorial centered around exotic luxury vehicles set against the iconic visual language of Miami Beach—oceanfront architecture, sun-washed streets, Art Deco lines, and coastal light.

This shoot emphasizes the intersection of fashion, automotive luxury, and lifestyle branding, mirroring the types of productions commissioned by luxury houses, automotive brands, and high-end publications.

    Focus areas include:

    • Integrating exotic vehicles as narrative elements, not props

    • Balancing subject, wardrobe, and automobile without visual competition

    • Working with harsh sunlight, reflective paint, chrome, and glass

    • Directing talent in dynamic, high-status scenarios

    • Creating images that communicate power, taste, and modern luxury

    • Shooting efficiently in public environments with real-world constraints

Participants rotate through shooting roles while learning how to maintain creative authority on a complex, multi-element set.

    Business of Photography Session I

Positioning Yourself for Fashion & Luxury Clients

This session addresses how photographers are perceived and hired within the fashion and luxury ecosystem.

    Topics include:

    • Why luxury brands hire vision, not technicians

    • Portfolio curation for fashion and lifestyle credibility

    • Pricing psychology at the luxury level

    • Presenting yourself as an artist and cultural asset—not a service provider

    Evening Dinner
    Zuma Miami
An elevated group dinner designed for fellowship, connection, and informal creative conversation.

  • DAY TWO — SUNDAY

    Identity, Narrative & Longevity

    Start Time: 7:00 AM

    Morning Reflection & Image Review

    7:00 – 8:00 AM

The day begins with a focused review of select images from Day One. This session examines how editors and creative directors read photographs, with emphasis on intention, sequencing, and narrative cohesion. Feedback is guided, precise, and designed to sharpen editorial judgment rather than overwhelm.

    Destination Editorial Workshop II

    Private Yacht Editorial at Sea

    8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Participants board a private yacht for an exclusive fashion editorial shoot on open water—one of the defining experiences of the retreat.

    Focus Areas

    • Creating luxury imagery in a moving environment

    • Working with natural light, reflection, and horizon lines

    • Directing models with clarity in dynamic conditions

    • Fashion as lifestyle, not performance

This session challenges photographers to produce clean, cinematic imagery that feels refined, global, and editorially relevant.

    Lunch at Sea

    12:30 – 1:30 PM

A catered lunch aboard the yacht provides time for conversation, reflection, and informal mentorship while returning to shore.

Building a Sustainable Career in Fashion Photography

    2:30 – 3:30 PM
