Free Online Mentorship: A structured 12-month online learning experience providing education, assignments, feedback, and community support.
Exclusive In-Person Mentorship ($100/month | NYC Only): A high-touch experience with direct in-person mentorship from Shamayim, including masterclasses, portfolio reviews, networking events, and travel opportunities.

Selection Criteria
Eligibility for Both Options
Applicants should meet the following minimum requirements:
Portfolio Submission: Submit 10–15 images that best represent your current work in fashion photography.
Statement of Purpose: A brief essay (300–500 words) outlining your creative vision, career goals, and reasons for seeking mentorship.
Professional Experience: Any previous experience in photography (academic, self-taught, or professional) is encouraged, but beginners with strong creative potential are welcome.
Commitment: Ability to commit to a 12-month program, including completing assignments and participating in scheduled sessions.
Additional Criteria for In-Person Mentorship
Location: Must be based in or near New York City.
Availability for In-Person Sessions: Ability to attend all six in-person masterclasses and scheduled portfolio reviews.
Professional Goals: A clear plan for utilizing in-person experiences (expeditions, networking events, and real-world shoots) to advance your career.
Interview: A brief interview may be required to assess readiness and ensure that the in-person experience is a good fit.

Commitment & Participation:
Be punctual and prepared for all sessions (online and in-person).
Complete assignments by set deadlines.
Actively engage in feedback sessions and group discussions.

Follow safety and legal guidelines, especially during expeditions and on-set experiences.
Strive for professionalism in every shoot, portfolio review, and networking event.
Adapt to evolving industry standards, with updates communicated periodically throughout the program.
Communication & Feedback:
Maintain open lines of communication with Shamayim and program coordinators.
Provide constructive feedback and be open to receiving critiques to foster professional growth.
Respect differing artistic opinions and encourage collaborative learning.
