Creative Concentration Policy

To ensure every participant receives a meaningful, personalized portfolio development experience, participation in each Portfolio Development Session is intentionally limited by creative discipline.

We accept a maximum of two (2) creatives per concentration during each session.

For example, each production may accommodate:

• 2 Makeup Artists

• 2 Hair Stylists

• 2 Wardrobe Stylists

• 2 Creative Directors

• 2 Set Designers

• 2 Fashion Designers

• 2 Nail Artists

• 2 Jewelry & Accessory Designers

• 2 Editorial Producers

• 2 Art Directors

Once a concentration has reached its maximum capacity, registration for that discipline will close for that particular session.

This policy allows every creative to receive individualized attention during their consultation and throughout the production while ensuring each participant has sufficient opportunities to execute the portfolio work they need.

Maintaining a balanced mix of creative disciplines also creates a more authentic editorial production environment. Rather than having multiple professionals competing for the same role, participants collaborate across complementary specialties, resulting in stronger teamwork, more efficient productions, and higher-quality portfolio work for everyone involved.

Because each city has limited availability, we encourage early registration. Creative disciplines often reach capacity well before the overall session sells out.

If your concentration has already reached capacity, you may join the waitlist or register for another available city or future Portfolio Development Session.

The collaboration fee allows us to produce a professional editorial environment that would otherwise cost thousands of dollars to organize independently. Your investment helps cover the production expenses required to create high-quality portfolio work, including studio rental, professional model bookings, wardrobe styling, hair and makeup services, production assistants, lighting and grip equipment, creative direction, production planning, and overall event coordination.

By sharing these production costs among all registered creatives, we're able to provide access to an editorial-level experience at a fraction of the cost of producing a private shoot.

Rather than paying for an entire production on your own, you'll collaborate with other fashion and beauty professionals while still receiving a personalized consultation and creative direction tailored to your individual portfolio goals. The result is an efficient, collaborative environment where every participant leaves with purposeful work that strengthens their portfolio and supports the next stage of their career.

Portfolio Development Sessions are designed exclusively for fashion and beauty creative professionals, including makeup artists, hair stylists, wardrobe stylists, fashion stylists, creative directors, set designers, fashion designers, and other creatives looking to strengthen or redevelop their portfolios.

No. This is a professionally produced collaborative editorial experience. Every participant actively contributes to the production while creating portfolio work aligned with their individual creative goals.

Yes. Every registered creative participates in a consultation before the production. During this consultation, we'll discuss your current portfolio, career objectives, visual style, and the specific work you need to create. Your participation throughout the session is guided by those objectives.

Absolutely. We encourage established creative teams to attend together. Teams of three or more receive a 25% discount for each registered participant.

How many models will be available?

The 4-Hour Portfolio Development Session includes two professionally booked models.

The 8-Hour Signature Portfolio Development Session includes four professionally booked models, providing greater variety in beauty looks, styling, and creative concepts.

Yes. During your consultation, we'll discuss your preferred aesthetic, color palette, references, target clients, and portfolio objectives. While productions remain collaborative, every effort is made to ensure your portfolio reflects your individual creative vision.

Bring any personal tools or specialty items related to your profession. We also recommend bringing a notebook, business cards, and reference images you'd like to incorporate into your consultation.

Attendance is intentionally limited to maintain a productive and collaborative environment while ensuring every participant has meaningful opportunities to contribute to the production.

Complete the online registration form and submit your required deposit. Once your registration is confirmed, you'll receive your consultation appointment along with your production schedule and preparation guide.

Because model bookings, studio rentals, production staff, and creative planning begin immediately after registration, all deposits are non-refundable. If you're unable to attend, registration may be transferred to another available Portfolio Development Session, subject to availability and advance notice.
