WHEN YOU DON’T KNOW WHERE TO GO — GO INWARD

There’s a moment every creative reaches that feels like being caught between two mirrors, endlessly reflecting possibilities — and none of them feel clear.

You’ve got talent. You’ve got the passion. But you don’t know which direction to move in. You scroll through endless inspiration, you watch others shine, you question your place, your path, your power. And if you're honest, you're exhausted from trying to “figure it all out.”

Let me speak to you from experience — not from the mountaintop, but from the muddy climb up it.

I’ve stood exactly where you are. Many times. And what I’ve learned is this: when you don’t know where to go next, the most powerful direction is inward.

THE NOISE OUTSIDE ISN’T THE TRUTH INSIDE

In this age of constant exposure, it’s easy to mistake movement for purpose. Likes for love. Virality for value. But the truth is, creative direction doesn’t come from the outside in. It comes from the inside out.

So, instead of chasing clarity by scrolling or comparing, sit with yourself. Shut out the noise. Ask yourself:

  • What do I genuinely love to create, even when no one is watching?

  • What themes or aesthetics repeatedly show up in my work?

  • What kind of world do I want my creativity to build or disrupt?

This isn’t about being trendy. It’s about being true.

PURPOSE ISN’T ALWAYS LOUD — SOMETIMES IT WHISPERS

Don’t wait for lightning bolts or grand signs. Often, your path speaks in whispers:

A subtle obsession. A recurring idea. A fascination that just won’t let you go.

Follow that. Even if it doesn’t “make sense” right now. Especially if it doesn’t. Creativity is spiritual — and spirit doesn’t move in straight lines. It dances, detours, destroys, and rebirths.

YOU DON’T NEED A BLUEPRINT — YOU NEED A BEGINNING

Here’s something freeing: you don’t need to know exactly where you’re going to begin moving.

Direction is often revealed in the doing.

Pick up your camera. Open your sketchbook. Write the first paragraph. Design that one look. Edit that footage. Make something. Action has a way of waking up intuition. Creativity is a muscle — move it.

CREATE FROM YOUR CORE, NOT FROM YOUR CRAVINGS

Don't create just to be seen. Create to say something.

When your work comes from your soul, it resonates deeper. It cuts through. It magnetizes. That’s when your audience — your true audience — finds you. That’s when you stop performing and start transforming.

And that, my friend, is when direction starts revealing itself — not as a GPS route, but as a compass. Subtle. Honest. Guiding you inward and forward at the same time.

FINAL WORD: YOU ARE NOT LOST. YOU ARE ROOTING.

If you’re in the space between, don’t panic.

The pause is sacred.

Before a seed grows upward, it first roots downward. If it rushes the process, it dies. But if it goes deep, it blooms with strength and clarity.

You are not behind. You are becoming.

Go inward. Go honest. Go create.

And trust: the path will appear under your feet as you walk.
