WHAT TO BRING?
Because some evenings/nights can be fresh in Namibia, and because it can be very windy in the desert, we advise you to pack the below items to feel comfortable when visiting:
A coat
A scarf
A hat or cap
Few spare T-shirts and underwear
A swimming suit (our pool is heated and with amazing views)
Lip balm (the sun can make your lips very dry)
Sun cream
Good shoes
An adapter (type D / M)
A reusable water bottle (water in Namibia is safe to drink from the tap)
And of course a camera
Expedition Itinerary
Day 1: April 25th, 2025
- Morning: Arrival at Windhoek Airport, greeted by SHAMAYIM team and transfer to ZANNIER HOTELS OMAANDA.
- Afternoon: Check-in and settle into accommodations. Lunch at the hotel.
- Evening: Sunset photo shoot at the hotel's panoramic terrace overlooking the Namibian savanna. Dinner at the hotel's restaurant.
Day 2: April 26th, 2025
- Morning: Breakfast at the hotel.
- Mid-morning to Early Afternoon: Photo shoot at Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, capturing the iconic red sand dunes and ancient camel thorn trees.
- Lunch: Picnic lunch amidst the dunes.
- Late Afternoon: Return to the hotel for relaxation and editing sessions.
- Evening: Dinner at the hotel's Boma, accompanied by a fireside gathering and cultural entertainment.
Day 3: April 27th, 2025
- Morning: Breakfast at the hotel.
- Afternoon: Excursion to Namib-Naukluft National Park for a photo shoot among the rugged landscapes and desert-adapted wildlife.
- Lunch: Safari-style lunch in the park.
- Late Afternoon: Return to the hotel for leisure time or optional spa treatments.
- Evening: Sunset photo shoot at a scenic location near the hotel, followed by dinner at the hotel's restaurant.
Day 4: April 28th, 2025
- Morning: Breakfast at the hotel.
- 11am: Check-out and transfer to Windhoek Airport for departure.
Note: All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are provided by ZANNIER HOTELS OMAANDA. Driver transfers to and from Windhoek Airport are arranged for participants' convenience.
